Feed Your Family for £20 a week by Lorna Cooper 4/5
I follow Lorna and her page on social media, so was excited to hear she had a book available. The concept of the book may sound impossible to some, (it did to me too), but once I started reading, it was clear that Lorna isn’t suggesting we can take £20 to the supermarket and buy a full grocery shop. It is more about the planning, buying in bulk, prepping, and freezing. Once you start following her ideas, you can potentially feed your family for £20 a week.
There are not many cookbooks that I like, and even fewer where I like multiple recipes. Lorna cooks what I call ‘family’ meals. You know, stuff people actually eat from day to day. I much prefer this as I can easily find something that I know my kids will eat too.
If you are interested in lowering your grocery bill, I’d definitely check this book out. She has just announced that she will be releasing another too.
