
Incorporating meat free meals into your meal plan is a great way to save money. One meal that works well as a vegetarian meal is chilli. I make a three bean chilli that can be made as it is or with meat (if you prefer).

Ingredients
- I can of drained kidney beans
- 1 can of drained pinto beans
- 1 can of drained baked beans
- 2 cans of chopped tomatoes
- 2x diced bell peppers
- 2x diced onions
- 2 tbsp chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
Method
- Mix everything together in your slow cooker
- Cook on high for 4-6 hours
To freeze your leftovers, portion out the chilli into air tight containers and freeze once cool.
